Wild Club - Minibeast Madness

Free, drop-in session. This month we will be making our own minibeasts and naming them before going on the hunt for some real creepy crawlies. We will look in the woods under logs and run through the grass with sweep nets. Can you find a very hungry caterpillar?

Woodland Explorers

We are planning to run 2 fun-filled days of Woodland Explorers during the May half term (26th & 27th May) where we will delivering Forest Schools activities in the furthest part of our beautiful nature reserve. Join us for a whole host of fun activities from tracking and trailing, games and den making, bug hunts and of course plenty of free play! Each day will run from 10am till 4pm and is open to explorers aged 7-11 years old. The 2 day course costs just £40 (individual days are not available) and includes all materials, tools and campfire food (bring your own lunch and snacks). More information will be sent out to you upon booking.

Action Stations

Our Action Stations activity days are for children with special educational needs aged 7years and over. Days are tailored towards the children attending and a variety of activities are available. Children get a choice between a 'more adventurous' and 'less adventurous' option throughout the day and activities can include: archery, climbing, clay work, orienteering, shelter building, nature walks, photography, drums, ropes courses, raft building, maze, blindfold trail and more! Wet & Wild

Fri 29th May 159.30am-3.30pm

Join us to take advantage of the lovely May weather as we get Wet and Wild! Swing through the trees on our ropes course, explore the depths of our cave, build a giant catapult to fire wet sponges and test your own raft to see whether you sink or swim! This day will be action packed and a change of clothes is a must! More details will be sent out upon booking.

Sayers Croft are pleased to offer a dedicated Gold Duke of Edinburgh residential week at our centre, based in Ewhurst, Surrey from the 20th - 24th July 2015. The week will consist of adventure activities, such as rock climbing, high ropes, zip wire and archery as well as conservation work. Previous projects have included tree coppicing, tree planting, fence building, path laying, pond dredging and woodland management. As well as fulfilling the requirements for the Gold Residential section, participants will also gain a John Muir Discovery award.
