Our Action Stations activity days are for children with special educational needs aged 7years and over. Days are tailored towards the children attending and a variety of activities are available. Surrey Amphibian and Reptile Group Talk

Join the Amphibians Officer, Danial, for a fun and informative talk about Surrey's resident amphibians and reptiles. Learn some fascinating facts, find out where you can spot some of these creatures in your local area and what you can do to help! Depending on the weather and how shy these creatures are being, Danial may be able to bring some of them in to the talk to show you what they look like in real life! Half of the proceeds of the evening will go towards supporting the Surrey Amphibian and Reptile Group.

Willow Weaving Workshop

Christine Llewellyn returns to host another wonderful willow weaving workshop. This workshop will take place over two days - Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th July and will see students creating their very own round or oval shopping basket with a handle. Suitable for beginners. The cost of the course for the two days is £55 - an extra material cost is to be paid on the second day once the baskets have been weighed (approx. £9). Tea and biscuits provided. Pictures of the type of basket to be made can be seen on our facebook group.

Gold Duke of Edinburgh Residential

Mon 22nd July 13

Sayers Croft are pleased to offer a dedicated Gold Duke of Edinburgh residential week at our centre, based in Ewhurst, Surrey. The week will consist of adventure activities, such as rock climbing, high ropes, zip wire and archery as well as conservation work. All conservation will take place on our secure 56 acre site. Previous projects have included tree coppicing, tree planting, fence building, path laying, pond dredging and woodland management. The cost of the week is £195 (discount applies for Westminster residents) and includes all meals, accommodation and activities led by enthusiastic, professional instructors. We also offer transport to and from Guildford train station. As well as fulfilling the requirements for the Gold Residential section, participants will also gain a John Muir Discovery award. Bat Walk with Surrey Bat Group

Join us for an evening talk with Martyn Phillis from Surrey Bat Group. He will begin the evening with a short talk on bats followed by a dusk walk at 8.30pm to try and spot as many bats as we can with our bat detectors. Don't worry if we don't see any as Martyn will have a couple of the little critters for us to see up close and personal! Spaces are strictly limited and must be booked for all party members (adults and children) so please book early to avoid disappointment. Half of the proceeds of this evening will go to The Surry Bat Group.

Camping at the Croft

Come and join us for our annual camping event. Arrive from 3pm on Saturday. We will hold a BBQ of local food at 6pm including dessert, followed by a campfire. Our evening activity includes games and setting humane traps for mammals and moths so you can catch a glimpse of night time wildlife at Sayers Croft. Limited number of tent's available for hire.
